A friend of mine from the Context Group, Markus Comhout is in the initial stages of a new blog. Markus’ research interests include:

- Interpreting the Bible from a social-scientific/anthropological perspective (in particular applying modern ethnicity theory). Here I am much influenced by the work of Dennis Duling and Philip Esler.
- The Sayings Gospel Q (Here particularly influenced by John Kloppenborg)
- Historical Jesus Studies
- Early Judaism
- Currently I am working on Paul and also the “New Perspective” as set out by James Dunn.

Go check out Markus’ work when he gets underway. Welcome to biblioblogging Markus!
